Best Seat In the House (Caution: Slippery When Wet)

The best seat in Charleston is hands down the Chef’s table at Oak. Word to the wise: don’t take your sweet ole Granny unless she’s ready to get wild – the Chef’s table is not for the faint of heart… it’s far from tame, oozing sensuality with the steam rising from the kitchen and the hot, sweaty men screaming “why is this f*@king plate still sitting here” within it. You’re surrounded by gorgeous men: there’s Brett McKee who is just a rock star, plain and simple. Then there’s the bad boy sous chef – a.k.a. Joaquin Phoenix circa “Walk the Line;” there’s Scott Caan/Astin who looks like secret service; there’s Braveheart/Gladiator who’s got a sweet face but tattoos up and down his sides; and then there’s Grecian, who’s probably the dullest tool in the shed, but he sure is perrrrty. If you’re lucky enough, like the Go’Diva sisters were this weekend, you’ll have their full attention, braised with very purposeful and not at all pure intentions. The food is fantastic, but let’s be honest – they could serve franks and beans and, with a staff like that, we’d still keep coming again and again.

WOOOOO hold on there Slippery When Wet! I'm a guy who is very secure with my sexuality and if I see I guy that is attractive I would be the first to admit it. I'm sorry but the guys at oak are on crack and their tattoos and eyes show it. If they didn't work at Oak and worked at a hotdog stand (which is where they came from) you wouldn't give them the time of day. If any of them approached you on the street, you would probably run and yell rape! Now if you want a real sight, go sit at the bar and lay your eyes on the bartenders who wear hot sexy black outfits. Now that's service that I'm sure gets slipper when wet!!!

In response to "Hope Diamond"....I have had the pleasure of dining at Oak time and time again and have never been disappointed. Brett McKee is a rockstar and his cuisine and personality have always kept me coming back for more. The service has always been to the upmost from start to finish. Chef Brett McKee and his staff at Oak Steakhouse have received recognition throughout the city, state, and nation for their cuisine, wine, and service. I highly doubt that an individual under the influence of crack would be able to serve as such a high standard, but maybe you would know. Is it possible that you have had a bad experience with a hot dog and a tatooed man bent over a hot dog stand? Hmm..I assure you that the only hot dogs these studs have their hands on are their own while in your girlfriends crack. Next time you visit Oak, take a moment away from gazing into the staff eyes and take a bite of the best steak in town and that will most certainly make you wet.

Diva Sisters, you certainly have excellent taste. I have had the pleasure of dining at the chefs table
at Oak a few times and the atmosphere
is certainly high energy. The "hot sous chef" is my brother.Hot?,Yeah I guess... If you like tall, smart, educated, sweet, and hysterically funny. I can assure you that the frenetic energy experienced by a guest at the chefs table comes from a few talented people crammed into a hot sweaty space putting out the best meat in Charleston night after night... How's that for some visual stimulus???

go diva sisters,
you are certainly right about how "hot" it is Oak. Not only the kitchen guys, but the service staff isn't too bad to look at either! The fact that the food and atmosphere are by far the best in Charleston yet, make it the HOTTEST place to see and be seen.
